From the rehab ward to a mission of her own
Welcome! I am the owner and personal trainer behind Thrive 65, and it is so nice to meet you. I was born and raised a Colorado native and recently moved to Arizona with my husband and son, which is what led us to call Anthem home. There are so many things to do and see in this beautiful state year round.
I have held a degree as a Certified Occupational Therapist for 25 years, rehabilitating deconditioned seniors to return home and educating them on living with a new diagnosis or recovering from surgery. Too often I watched patients return after another fall or illness because they were never fully recovered, or physically strong enough for the challenges of daily tasks.
That is how Thrive 65 was created. Alongside my OT degree, I earned my CPT from NASM, and I am a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) and Senior Fitness Specialist (SFS). My mission is to serve the senior community and help them prevent or recover from injury, on their time, with a qualified and patient person leading them back into wellness.

Our first consultation together is all about uncovering your needs and evaluating your health history. Tammy will assess your core strength, joint mobility, total body muscular function, and balance. Together you will set balanced, achievable goals designed to have you feeling stronger and performing daily activities with less effort.
